Premise: After the Apophis Asteroid collides with Earth, humans discover that something much more sinister than space rock has entered our atmosphere. The Augury are an alien race that carry a venom that is highly toxic to all life on Earth. With the human race dwindling away every day, hope is nothing but a memory. But 3 years after the invasion began, can the discovery of the Augury's weakness turn the tide of humanity's extinction or will they need some help from another alien race, come to confront the Augury?

Characters:
  • Veri: The Captain of the Aroer Tribe's Angels of Death. The Protagonist. Veri is the one who discovers the Augury's weakness. She has dreams of people with wings and buildings like none on Earth. What could these dreams mean?
  • Osa: Lieutenant of the Aroer Tribe's Angels of Death. He is in love with Veri. Osa is highly protective of her and he is very good at hand-to-hand combat with the Augury.
  • Neil: Married to Fa, Neil is the reliable one of the Aroer Tribe's Angels of Death. He's good natured and acts like everyone's big brother.
  • Fa: Angel of Death on maternity leave, Fa helps Gwen to teach other tribes how to use the weaponry devised from Veri's discovery of the Augury's weakness.
  • Renegade: The Chieftain of the Aroer Tribe. Renegade often goes out on missions with the Angels of Death. She is strong and tough-as-nails.
  • Dr. Yume: Kind of wacky, Dr. Yume is obsessed with her genius. She discovers ways to exploit the Augury's weakness and searches for a cure for the venom the Augury carry.
  • Gwen: A young mystic, Gwen often has visions of what is to come. She travels between tribes, bringing news and goods with her. Veri watches out for her a lot.
  • Claire: Transfered to Aroer from the East Coast under curious orders, Claire is a sniper and her talents are put to good use against the Augury.
  • Jean-Baptiste: Also transfered to Aroer from the East Coast under the same orders as Claire, Jean-Baptiste is a hard-head but is very loyal once he gains respect for someone.
  • Airys: Lieutenant of the Issachar Tribe's Angels of Death, she is rather callous and lives as if her hope is nothing but a sarcastic twist of fate.
  • Rynn: Airys's sometime lover, Rynn is also an Issachar Angel of Death. He always does whatever is in his power to protect Airys even if it's a bit overmuch.
  • Elder: Leader of the Reservation which keeps an eye and helps the Tribes in the area.
  • Lilian: The Elder's daughter.
  • Dr. Lance: Inventor of nano-screens. He is one of the few people to gain Dr. Yume's respect.

Tribes:
Most of the Tribes are named after one of the 12 Tribes of Israel in an ironic twist since most of the Tribes of Israel were exiled at one point or another. The other Tribes are named after towns or cities under the rule of one of the 12 Tribes. The Reservation is separate and is, in fact, an old Native American Reservation. Only three of the Tribes are focused on. Aroer, Issachar and Ramoth.
